About Us
Meet Jessyca
Whiskers & Wiggles LLC was founded in 2018 by Jessyca Nagorski. She’s been professionally caring for pets since 2014, though her journey started much earlier — helping neighbors and family pets as a teenager and dreaming of a life working with animals. While veterinary work didn’t feel like the right fit, her passion for pet care never faded. Volunteering with local rescues, training under a vet tech, and attending seminars on animal behavior and training laid the groundwork for what would become her calling. A chance dog-walking request for an adorable Havanese sealed the deal, and Jessyca knew she’d found her path.
Today, Jessyca lives in Akron, Ohio with her husband and their beloved pets: Otto (a senior chihuahua-dachshund-miniature pinscher mix), Calvin (a 16 lb Maine Coon mix), and Sweet Pea (a spunky three-legged kitty). When she’s not out caring for clients’ pets, you’ll find her reading, playing piano, diving into genealogy research, or gaming with friends.
Jessyca is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR through Pet Pro Hero and holds a Fear Free Level 1 Certification (working toward Level 2). She’s fully insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas and is a proud member of both Pet Sitters International (PSI) and Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS).
